Patrick T. Phalen

Registered Representative, Osaic Institutions, Inc., EVP, INB WEALTH

Pat began his banking/investment services career in 1989 when he started working for the “old” INB.  He rejoined that institution in 1992 as a Trust Officer.  In 1996, Pat became a licensed salesperson.  He currently holds a Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 registrations and is also licensed for life and health insurance in Illinois.

Pat was part of the original group that brought INB back to Springfield in 1999.  He is extremely proud of the INB team, the staff, the shareholders, and the board of directors.  In addition to serving as a licensed wealth advisor, Pat also manages the trust department, retail banking, mortgage, and marketing for INB, in addition to being the President and CEO of the bank holding company, Illinois National Bancorp.

Pat is passionate not only about his work with customers and co-workers, but also about his work in the community. Over the years, Pat has been involved in a volunteer capacity with many nonprofit organizations in the Springfield area. Today, he serves on the Sparc Endowment Board, the Sacred Heart-Griffin finance committee, and the Friend-in-Deed Board; he is also co-chair of Friend-In-Deed’s annual golf outing.  Other organizations that Pat has been involved in include United Way, Girl Scouts, Big Brother Big Sister, Special Olympics, just to name a few. “Those have been some of my greatest experiences – not only impacting nonprofits and the clients they serve but working on boards with like-minded people who also want to give back and better our community,” Pat says. “Surrounding yourself with good people has a lasting, significant impact of the rest of your life.”

Pat has three children in college and is anxious to watch them launch into the next phase of their life.  His main hope is that they work hard, get involved in their community and visit often.

By working with Pat, you can benefit from his customer-focused background and the security of a premier financial organization.
